Falcon Age NSP is an action-adventure RPG for the Nintendo Switch. I never thought I’d want a pet bird, but Falcon Age made me feel like I cared for my raptor like it was my own. Outerloop Games did a fantastic job of integrating gameplay mechanics and storytelling, despite some technical issues. While the entire adventure can be enjoyed on a regular TV, it’s much more fun and engaging on PSVR thanks to numerous interactions and innovative controls. Your boisterous companion in Falcon Age is so helpful that the game almost feels like co-op. You and your feathered friend explore a barren yet masterfully crafted desert, destroying the oil refineries of a colonial power.

Gameplay: Playing Falcon Age means immersing yourself in a vibrant and masterfully crafted world where the relationship with your feathered companion is everything. You’ll explore a variety of locations, from arid deserts to lush oases, while your falcon soars majestically beside you. The game masterfully combines exploration with thrilling combat. Your falcon isn’t just a pet; it’s an indispensable tool and ally. You can command it to perform various tasks, such as hunting small prey for resources, finding items, or even assisting in combat. Mastering these commands is crucial to overcoming the game’s challenges.

Combat in Falcon Age is dynamic, combining Ara’s direct attacks with your falcon’s aerial strikes. You’ll face a variety of robotic enemies, each requiring different strategies. Resource management and crafting are also crucial, as they allow you to create new weapons and equipment to enhance your falcon’s abilities.
