Game description

Rain World NSP brings a survival platforming experience set in a harsh ecosystem where players navigate dangers hunt for food and adapt to a dynamic world. In this game, you can play as a creature within a complex food chain built on nature, life, and death. You’ll live the life of a snail-like animal – and frankly, it’s hard to describe what you’ll become, so let’s just call it a snail. Your goal is to find enough food to survive the next life cycle in a harsh world full of hidden dangers. Every day, you set out to hunt for fruit, insects, and anything edible to meet your survival needs for the next morning. The world is full of various land and air creatures, all striving for the same goal: survival.

This creates a natural balance between hunter and prey, with the snail in the middle. Your life is threatened in many ways; you’ll not only have to dodge sharp teeth but also use your clumsy snail body to overcome obstacles. The snail’s movement mechanics are the most challenging part of the game. They may seem clumsy at first glance, but it’s precisely these features that give the game its charm and grace. As you master the game, it transforms from a simple struggle for survival into a deep exploration.

The exploration isn’t limited to the surrounding areas; it encompasses the world itself and concepts like reality, life, and death. The world of Rain is deeper than it appears. You’re not just an animal struggling to survive, but a living being searching for the meaning of life. As you progress through the game, you gain a deeper understanding of the world.
