The gameplay in A Short Hike is simple and relaxing. As you explore the park, you collect golden feathers that improve your movement. Each golden feather gives Claire an extra jump. It also increases how long she can climb or sprint.

After jumping, you can glide by holding the button. This system is easy to learn and becomes more fun as you progress.

Soon you will be gliding from the highest peaks to the beaches below. Collecting more feathers lets you perform extra jumps in mid-air and reach even higher areas.
