NEO: The World Ends with You Switch NSP XCI is an action game set in modern Shibuya. In the story, a mysterious organization forces a group of players into a deadly survival game, where they battle supernatural enemies and uncover the truth behind the Reapers’ Game.
The World Ends with You launched on the Nintendo DS in 2007 and introduced players to Neku and the vibrant streets of Shibuya. Although many players felt unfamiliar with the setting at first, the bold art style, strong themes of personal growth, and distinctive soundtrack quickly captured attention and built a loyal fanbase.
Over the years, fans eagerly demanded a sequel, joined online discussions, and followed major gaming events like E3 in hopes of an announcement.
