Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age NSP puts you in the role of the Luminary, a hero destined to save the world. You travel across the kingdom of Erdrea with a group of companions, taking on quests and fighting enemies in turn-based battles.

The game lets you customize your party by upgrading skills and changing outfits without affecting stats. You can also ride monsters and attack enemies directly in the field to gain experience points.

This version includes extra features like switching between HD and 16-bit visuals, choosing between orchestral or synth music, and selecting English or Japanese voice acting. It also adds new story content focused on different characters and even lets you visit past Dragon Quest worlds.
