After two hundred years of solitude, the desperate Fortuna summons Ábramar, a forbidden cosmic being, and makes an even more forbidden pact with him to mitigate her punishment.

One of the defining characteristics of Wheel of Fortune is the cyclical nature of time and events; some characters harbor hope that, despite all the negativity, the witches’ worst impulses will not manifest in such horrific ways. This cautious optimism is clearly evident in Fortuna’s fragile relationship with Ábramar; they are not the first witch and Behemoth to join forces, nor will they be the last, and the game masterfully brings these outcasts together with powerful chemistry and wit. Clearly, their pact offers Fortuna and Ábramar an opportunity to break the cycle and cultivate a cautious glimmer of optimism in the face of unknown cosmic chaos.
