Game description
Join colorful battles in ARMS; in this unique fighting game, characters use their extendable arms to punch, grab, and dodge in creative ways.
ARMS NSP is a 3D fighting game developed by Nintendo’s Project Development Division. Players will engage in boxing battles in a fixed scene, and up to 4 characters can fight together in a single game.
Characters in ARMS typically have retractable arms, which they use as their primary means of attack; however, some characters use retractable hair or mechs in combat. In addition to different characters, players can gain different special abilities by changing glove attributes and weight classes. The game will launch with 10 playable characters, and more characters, items, and stages will be added for free after launch.
In addition to the main boxing battle mode, the game also features mini-games such as 1v1 one-on-one dunking, volleyball, target shooting, and 100-man kill. Through these mini-games, players can earn in-game currency to purchase items.
Gameplay ARMS
Gameplay in ARMS is more strategic than it looks. At first, fights seem simple. You just move around, throw punches, and counter your opponent. But once you play more, you realize there’s a lot more depth.
Positioning matters a lot. You can use the environment to your advantage. For example, you might hide behind objects for cover or choose higher ground to stay safe. Every arena offers different ways to play.
