Game description
Capcom Fighting Collection 2 Switch NSP XCI launched on Nintendo Switch on May 14 this year. It brings together eight classic fighting games published by Capcom across different eras. The collection includes crossover titles classic 2D fighters and some early 3D fighting games. This is the third Capcom fighting collection on Switch after Capcom Fighting Collection 1 and Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection Arcade Classics.
This collection includes a total of eight games and all of them also have Japanese versions. Every title is based on its arcade release and offers a wide range of fighting styles. You get both 2D and 3D games and each one feels different which makes this package stand out. Below is a quick look at some of the games included before you download the ROM.
Plasma Sword Nightmare of Bilstein was released in 1998. It is a weapon based 3D fighting game and a sequel to Star Gladiator. The game originally launched in arcades and later came to the Sega Dreamcast.
Power Stone was released in 1999 and is also a 3D fighting game. It feels very different from Plasma Sword and focuses more on fast movement and interactive arenas. It was released in arcades on the Dreamcast and later on the PSP.
Power Stone 2 was also released in 1999. It appeared in arcades and on the Dreamcast with a later PSP version. This sequel added new features and introduced four player gameplay which made fights more chaotic and fun.
