The core gameplay in FIFA 19 Switch NSP does not feel dramatically different from the previous installment. Since the game still runs on EA’s Ignite engine, it struggles to match the smooth movement and realistic player animations seen in versions built on the Frostbite engine for newer consoles.

Another noticeable issue is the variability in gameplay pace. Some players move at extremely high speeds, making them difficult to defend against, while others feel unusually slow when turning or controlling the ball. This imbalance can sometimes affect the overall flow of matches and make gameplay feel less natural.
