Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition

Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition NSP is an action game released in 2018 for Nintendo Switch. The game was developed by Omega Force in collaboration with Koei Tecmo and lets players control different warriors, fight large groups of enemies, and complete story missions across Hyrule.

Gameplay in Hyrule Warriors feels closer to Dynasty Warriors than a typical Zelda game. You spend most of your time fighting large groups of enemies. Zelda elements are still there, but the main focus is fast-paced combat against hundreds of weak foes, along with some stronger enemies that need a bit more strategy.

Stages

Each stage drops you into a battlefield filled with keeps and outposts. Enemies constantly spawn from these areas. Your main goal is to capture them by defeating the captain in charge while clearing out enemies along the way.

Once you secure a location, it starts producing your own forces instead of enemies. This helps you gain control of the map. As you move between keeps, new objectives appear and keep things interesting. Sometimes, you’ll need to rush in and defend a base from incoming enemies like Stalfos.

Attacks

The game lets you play as many characters from across the series, including Link, Impa, and even less common ones like Marin and Zant. Each character has light and heavy attacks that you can combine to create powerful combos.

As you fight, you fill up a special attack gauge. Once it’s ready, you can unleash a strong move that wipes out large groups of enemies at once. This makes combat feel satisfying and over-the-top.
