Nintendo revealed Kirby Star Allies Switch NSP at E3 2017 and officially released it the following year in March. It is a 2D adventure platformer developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo, made exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
In the story, Kirby encounters his old enemies King Dedede and Meta Knight, who have been affected by mysterious dark hearts. Using his new power, it can turn enemies into allies by throwing hearts at them. Alongside his new friends, Kirby Star Allies ROM sets out to stop the evil priest Hyness from using the dark hearts to revive Void Termina, a powerful cosmic threat that could throw the universe into chaos.
