Monument Valley NSP is a puzzle game released in 2014 for mobile devices and later for PC and consoles. The game was developed by ustwo games and follows a quiet journey through artistic levels filled with optical illusions and creative paths.

I found Monument Valley difficulty level to be well-balanced. I never got stuck, but completing each level required a bit of thought. There’s no time limit, so I could comfortably enjoy the game at my own pace. The “aha” moment when I figured out the solution to a level was quite satisfying. My only complaint is that the game is quite short. I completed it in about 1-2 hours. Still, the overall experience was worth it, especially because of its beautiful design and relaxing gameplay.

I’d say the story is probably the weakest part of Monument Valley Switch NSP. It feels more like an extra layer rather than the main focus. But honestly, that’s not a big issue because the gameplay and design easily carry the experience.

What really stood out to me was the visual style. The game takes clear inspiration from Escher-style art and geometric patterns. The world feels surreal, with impossible structures that shift and connect in unexpected ways.

As I played, I saw buildings fold into themselves, staircases leading nowhere, and paths changing with a simple touch. Changing perspective is the key mechanic, and it feels incredibly satisfying every time it reveals a new route.
