This land is steeped in legends passed down through generations, and Sinnoh boasts breathtaking natural beauty centered around the majestic Mount Coronet. Your first Pokémon partner will be Turtwig, Chimchar, or Pilip, and from here begins your journey to the title of Pokémon League Champion. The choice of Pokémon is entirely yours. During your journey, you’ll encounter the mysterious organization known as Team Galactic and have the opportunity to meet the Legendary Pokémon Palkia.

To explore the vast Nether, use the Research Kits you receive during your journey. Building your own secret base by digging up Pokémon fossils and other important artifacts is a fascinating activity. There are also other locations known as Pokémon Dens, where you can find Pokémon inhabiting a variety of environments. Some Pokémon are found only in these Dens. Visitors are free to explore these locations. Join other players in a fantastical underground adventure using your Nintendo Switch’s local or online connection.

Grand Contests are a popular event in the Sinnoh region. Each Grand Contest features four Pokémon and their partners, who showcase their dancing skills. You can prepare your Pokémon for the main event by giving them rewards called “Dead Ends” and teaching them flashy moves. You can apply stickers to capsules to customize the effects that appear when your Pokémon emerges from its Poké BallTM and participates in battles or Grand Contests. For your performance, you can choose a category, such as “Cool,” “Cute,” or “Smart,” and then move to the beat of the music.
