In Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Switch NSP XCI, the combat system has been updated to include Riders and Swords. Riders are special warriors who can link to Swords (weapons with unique powers) to enhance their abilities. Each rider can link up to three swords simultaneously, while our main character, Rex, can link up to four. This gives players countless options to create powerful combos and develop their characters.

Throughout your journey, you’ll encounter a variety of non-player characters, from humans to unique living weapons. The bonds you form with these characters will help you gain more power and unleash destructive special abilities called martial arts.
