The origami threat has taken over the kingdom! Join Mario and his new partner Olivia on an exciting adventure as you battle evil origami soldiers, repair damaged areas, and try to save Princess Peach’s castle from King Olly. With a new ring-based battle system requiring quick thinking and wits, organize different enemies and plan your attacks to maximize damage. Mario and Luigi receive an invitation from Princess Peach to the Origami Festival and excitedly travel to Toad Town… but something goes wrong.

Gameplay:

Origami King is a multi-genre video game combining action, adventure, role-playing, and puzzle elements. The player controls a 2D paper version of Mario and explores a linear open world modeled from paper and cardboard. The player’s objective is to destroy five intricate paper strips created by the game’s main antagonist, King Olly. Throughout the game, the player follows five strips that cover vast, open areas of exploration. Within these areas, the player must solve puzzles to progress.

Master strategic ring Battles:

After discovering a strangely deserted town, the duo encounters a terrifying (and formidable) Princess Peach: King Olly, ruler of the Origami Kingdom, has transformed her into origami! Under the control of five giant ribbons, King Olly has seized Princess Peach’s castle and moved her to a distant mountain, carrying out his plan to transform the world.

On his journey to save the Witch’s castle and rebuild the ruined paper world, Mario meets Olivia, King Olly’s sister, and together they join forces to stop Olly’s paper advance. Even Bowser falls victim to Olly’s evil plans; his followers are transformed into paper soldiers and forced to cooperate with Mario and Olivia, betraying their king Cube!

• Both NSP and XCI formats work perfectly with Yuzu and Ryujinx emulators. NSP files are installed directly, while XCI files are full cartridge dumps.
• On a modded Nintendo Switch, use Tinfoil or Goldleaf to install NSP files directly to your console.
